Ah, the Platino Satin…so beautiful that the very word “beautiful” is laughably inadequate. Alas that it appears to have no support whatsoever for the lamentably flat of foot, but it means that the Annalucia (who has just written a check for La Caterina’s first-semester college tuition) can pass them by with less regret than otherwise.
The the beautiful shoes, college is an investment. Unlike the beautiful shoes, however, you will never outgrow, outshrink, outswell, or outwear the gift of becoming more thoughtful, more wise, more compassionate, more worldly, or more thankful that you have parents to pay your tuition bills. Such a wonderful gift for a superfantastic young girl, Annalucia. She is a lucky daughter, to have a mother willing to overlook such a shoe for her betterment!
