I like how in the linked article he says that he only designed the clothes for skinny people, but when they didn’t release them to all outlets he called it “snobbery.” He is not even the funky little fashion troll like Galliano, he is the creepy crazy alien troll… Although admittedly fabulous fodder for the Fug girls.

I’ve always had good luck with H&M’s plus sizes. Cute trendy affordable clothes for grown-ups! Loved them. You have to go upstairs, because the first floor of every H&M I’ve been to is full of this-week’s-flavor for the teeny-tiny. Forge past THAT, and you could find better stuff.

Until, of course, they did away with the plus sizes sometime last year, and I pitched a big giant fit in the downtown Manhattan store. The current party line is they are “redesigning” their BB line, but it’s been gone a while, with no signs of coming back.

I’ve only been to H&M once, so perhaps my perception is not correct, but I can’t imagine any designer wanting his product in that store. The clothes are cheap, ill-fitting and tacky. Who wants to be associated with that, in whatever size?

Oooooh, sounds intriguing. My favorite neutral so far is MAC lipglass in Lovechild — everyone I’ve ever put it on (“Here!! Try this!! I INSIST!!”) has looked great in it.
