Thanks Francesca! I always have trouble finding non-leather shoes for Temple services on Yom Kippur, so thanks for posting this in time to order on-line. They're cute- I'd even wear them when it's not Yom Kippur!

There are a number of different fabric flats and skimmers available, many of which, like Keds, have thoroughly padded interiors, so it's not your foot thumping against a hard floor through paper-thin flats.

I, for one, will be wearing either:
-- the "Mille" ballet flat, from Payless (Cheap, in both price and construction? Oh yes... but cute as a button, and comfy. It comes in sizes up to 12, and wide width too, and the cut actually makes your feet look tiny.)
Or:
-- the "Little White Lie" flat from Seychelles, available in large sizes from BarefootTess.com (This is by far the cuter and higher quality shoe, but you'd need to pay for rush shipping to get them in time... Order a size up; they run a bit small.)
