Lane Bryant is having a “buy one, get the other for $10” sale.
If you buy one item at a cost of at least $59.50, you can choose any other item (which costs less than $59.50) and get it for $10. Not a bad deal, if you like Lane Bryant!
So, what items are eligible for the $10 sale price? Well, for starters, Francesca likes this Fuschia beaded top (not for herself, since her arms are too lumpy-squishy, but for women with arms to show off it is a very cute top – and the skirt shown with it is also available at the sale price!):
And here is a handsome cardigan, available in black, yellow, and pink:
And here is a versatile black knit skirt. There are also some handsome pants available.
And remember to treat yourself to something special for nighttime.
Happy shopping!
xoxo, Francesca
I usually ADORE this site and the advice given. But Lane Bryant has some super adorable clothes and I’m really disappointed with these picks. Is this grandma-chic? While the cardigan almost makes the cut, (almost,) let’s not forget that big girls can be trendy too!

Ugh. The one thing I wanted to get from LB and had been putting off was another pair of the Right Fit jeans. And they’re basically out of petites in the ‘blue’ boot cut! I must say that while I like the jeans I eventually got, I had a *horrible* experience shopping for them the first time! I was told to try the red and then the yellow…neither of which fit me even remotely…and when I went to go back and try the blues they told me I ‘wasn’t curvy enough for those’. I have a very distinct inward curve between my waist and hips and I had pulled back the clothing I was wearing so the woman could see my true shape. The jeans fit much better than either of the others…though I ended up with a size too big…curse that 1% spandex!

I ended up getting some very cute herringbone pattern knit trousers (where are the colors besides black, gray and brown for the tall girls, LB? The cute cargos and the cuffed pants? Grrrrr.) in my tall size, and a supersoft, but kind of refined hoody for under $50. I never find the tall pants on sale, so I am well-pleased.
There are some cute coats there, I can see it being a great deal for a gal who needs an event dress and a coat. Or two coats. Whatever!
I’m sorry about the bad Right Fit experience, but I am having the same problem. That spandex makes them too relaxed, and I need a size down now, too. Oh, well, maybe a warmer wash temperature and the dryer will help me out a little.
