“Me and my shadow, walking down the Avenue . . . ” (again)

By Francesca

My goodness, Avenue must be desperately keen to offload their wares. They are running another sale. Remind me never, ever to pay full retail over there, OK?

If you missed the 30% off code last week, here you have another chance: From now through Friday November 16, enter code 71300 at checkout and get 20% off your purchase! Sizes run from 14-32.

Also, they are having a sweater sale (which can be combined with the coupon code), shaving some of the price off items like this ruffled knit cardigan:

Happy shopping!

xoxo, Francesca

FYI - for those of you with larger arms - the sleeves on this sweater were stupidly tight. At least on the two colors I tried on in the store. On the plus side, it’s all soft and non-itchy.

Check out the Audrey dress — got that one for my office holiday party, and it’s GORGEOUS! Black jersey with sequins. So pretty and very affordable with the coupon!

I bought the sweater and matching shell in red and in black. Sooooo soft you want to live your life in it.

I can’t shop at Avenue. They have the slowest website ever, and if you go into one of their stores you are bombarded with “Are you sure you don’t want our store credit card?” by every single person you run across - my record for fewest sales pitches is 5. I feel bad for the staff, obviously they have to try to sell the store card, but when you say politely “I know you have to ask me, but I am not interested in owning another credit card, please just open up a dressing room/ring me up so I can PAY YOU FOR WHAT I WANT TO BUY AND LEAVE” 3-4 times to each person it’s not worth it. Too bad, because some of their clothes are very cute and their lightweight denim fits me beautifully.
