If you are shopping online, and you realize that you had a coupon code but it recently expired, try entering it at checkout anyhow.
Sometimes, it will not work.
And sometimes, it will work!

Hee. And if it doesn’t work, just call customer service and sweetly ask if they could pretty-please apply the discount to your existing order. They’ll refund your credit card the difference. At least, they’ve always done that for me.

Also if you forget to enter the coupon code, call customer service. I’ve done that even when I’ve received a coupon a day or two after I’ve just ordered something. and have always received the discount.
