Kiyonna done good

Filed under: Fashion — Francesca @ 3:05 pm

Francesca must admit that Kiyonna‘s wares do not usually meet her taste; perhaps she is biased because they are not typically Apple-friendly. But they recently added a number of items to their collection which are so pretty, Francesca must bring them to your attention! (Though they still, alas, are not necessarily ideal for Apples.)

Ruched dress in the color of sangria!

Scalloped lace dress in the color of merlot!

Satin wrap blouse and scalloped lace skirt!

Ruffle v-neck dress with satin band!

Indeed, Kiyonna has brought things up a notch! Well done.

  1. I was rather looking forward to ‘blouse…in the colour of absinthe’, and ‘dress…in the colour of your hangover.’

  2. I may be in the minority, but I love Kiyonna for my professional wear… Admittedly, I am most decidedly not an apple, but rather a size 26/28 hourglass, which is surprisingly hard to shop for. I think most clothing manufacturers assume women of my size carry their weight in quite different places than I do. Kiyonna’s designs include many forgiving styles for those of us with broad shoulders and larger arms, and do not automatically assume that waists have necessarily been lost along with the ability to shop in the misses section. (I think my body type has been described in other places as “linebacker” lol)

  3. Nice! Wonder how they’d look on petite me. Hmm…I might not be too far on Sunday from a boutique that carries some of their stuff. May have to see if they’re open…
