Lace sleeves from Igigi

Filed under: Fashion — Francesca @ 9:08 am

Francesca adores lace, especially when it is used sparingly and/or in interesting, unexpected ways.

She therefore notes with approval Igigi’s recent introduction of this pretty and versatile lace overcoat:

Is it not lovely? And indeed it can be used to dress up the jeans for a night out with the girlfriends, or it can be used in lieu of the shrug or shawl when wearing an elegant, sleeveless evening dress.

Francesca is also fond of their Marianna dress, with its bateau neckline and lace sleeves, though she wishes the model would grow out her bangs and choose a warmer hair color:

Happy shopping!

xoxo,

Francesca

  1. The dress is cute, although I couldn’t get it on over my apple stomach.

But that lace overcoat? I think she looks like she left the house in her peignoir.

  2. I too, dig that lace dress…it’s very cute. That lace overcoat, however, is giving me a real ‘circa mid-90s-Wilson-Phillips’ effect. I may pass on that one…and the models jeans are l’il too short

  3. Alas, Gabby…All jeans look like that on us tall-but-big gals. The closest thing I’ve found to long enough jeans are from Old Navy/Lane Bryant and even those upon washing shrink up just enough to render them too short for sexy heels. It’s a quest of mine to find larger size jeans in an inseam of at least 35 inches. The search continues…

  4. These are lovely, but as a Curvy Woman of Short Stature, I can guaran-damn-tee those sleeves are too long for me.
