I saw a story on the WWD.com Web site that indicated some changes are coming -- particularly more merchandise delivery, stepped-up markdowns and more color. For Talbots Woman, I want to see more dresses. That's my biggest complaint -- they have great wool crepe basic pieces, but not many dresses. Talbots head here. I'm somewhat pear-shaped, and I have the hardest time with Talbots' pants. They come up over my belly button and the elastic gaps and bunches and looks silly in the back, while in front the material saran-wraps itself to my belly. I end up looking horrible and dowdy. Pants with normal waists never seem to give me that problem, but by the time you get to be my size (24), they can be very hard to find.
