As you might have noticed, I’m having a major burnished metallics moment and I just cannot get enough of this gunmetal piping on black suede story. Piping is hard to carry off in a shoe without it looking either cute or cheap. We are too old for cute and cheap. (You are asking yourself “how does she know I’m too old for cute and cheap?” to which I respond, “are you legally permitted to buy lottery tickets, enroll in the armed forces or vote in government elections? Yes? THEN YOU’RE TOO OLD.”)
