Blue can look incredible if the right shade is selected and is blended properly, although there are quite a few people to ignore good advice and end up looking cheaper than Mr. Back Scratch Fever and his radioactive hooker girlfriend.

The electric blue and the lime green do not work on my eyes but deep purples and dark greens do for some reason. But only matt without shimmer.

However, I’ve seen some of the manga girls (they dress like characters from Japanese manga comics) in the neighbourhood rock the look. They look fantastic – maybe its because they are so young or its goes with their Sailor Moon outfits but sometimes I do wish I could use colors other than neutrals.

It sad to always be practical and in good taste, when my inner rock chic/punkette just begs to come out and play!

Does anyone else ever feel stifled?

I love the bolder colors! Bright electric blue is my specialty, and with my weird hazel eyes it looks really intense. I also have gold, purple, orange, yellow, lime green, pink, and white. I really only throw out the toned down colors, heheh..

Ahahaha…the guy with the scratches is a hilarious observation. Ugh. I don’t even want to guess where you were. Frightening.

I’ve also already purged my make-up bag. I try not to keep too many colors. I do experiment with new things, but I have my trusty favorites that are always in there.

The Annalucia got rid of the bad colors some time ago; she gave them to her daughter La Caterina, who will use them for humorous or theatrical wear (since they do not really suit her, either).
