Francesca says: Always check here before shopping at Avenue.com, because Avenue.com always has a sale code.
It is even often the same one, whose deadline gets extended and extended! Never pay full price at Avenue!
Do you see this?
And this?
Or need Petite or Tall pants?
Enter code AV81107 at checkout, and get 20% off (25% of you buy $100 or more of merchandise).
Code expires March 26. Or so they say, now.
Happy shopping!

I agree, I just discovered Avenue here in Seattle, and I’m in LOVE! Decent clothes, good quality, great sales. I signed up for the email list and I get a coupon nearly twice a week. I also hear they give you another coupon in your birth month, and I’ve gotten a physical coupon every time I go in. Gods, pants I don’t have to hem, shirts that look cute for work, tights that both fit AND don’t run… Seriously, I am addicted.

Don’t just check for Avenue coupons, either. Every time I buy something online, I Google “(retailer name) coupon” and check the results. There are TONS of sites that collect and list promotion codes and coupons for online shoppers, and I take advantage of every one I can.

Maybe it’s just me, but while I like those cuts, I really loathe the big patterns. I’d love to see these in bright jewel toned solids or more subtle patterns like small polkadots or japanese inspired prints. These big florals and giant abstract prints are just nothing I’d ever wear. :P

Dearest Hel,
Francesca agrees with you wholeheartedly, but big prints are in style right now, so we go with the flow sometimes. But do check out the Avenue website, because they do have items in solid colors.

Francesca

Tell me about it! Yesterday I had to go buy jeans, as a few pair of mine have worn out and it’s laundry day and the combination of the two factors was about to make me go to work in, gak, chinos (sabrina + business casual = frumpy, unhappy sabrina). Apparently it was 40% off anything coupons day. Everybody in line had coupons except for me, until the woman behind me in line offered me one. I was the only person who paid more than like $50 for an armload of clothes. Groan!
Oh well. Thank you, Mystery Lady, for the coupon. It saved me $15! (I don’t want to think what I would have saved if I had gone in armed with coupons downloaded from the web site. I’m just thankful they had my size of jeans, since the pickins were sale-day slim, so now I can go to work dressed as God intended… not in chinos!)
