Shout out to Francesca’s new friends

By Francesca

Francesca has returned to her New York apartment from London, and what a wonderful time she had!

The meet-and-greet was a success! Two other Big Girls came, and a wonderful Skinny Girl; it turns out that all four of us were tourists. Shout out to Evelyn, Sarah, and Katrine! You are superfantastic!

And now, in honor of my London trip, I would like to recommend these beautiful Burberry umbrellas, or “brollies” as they are known in a place like London, where one has such a close relationship with one’s umbrella that one gives it a nickname:

Classic Burberry!

Modern Burberry!

  1. Angel Says:

I love Burberry, but I’m more in love with Coach umbrellas. ;)

  2. FabAbby Says:

Unfortunately, if you are planning on coming back to the UK I should probably warn you that Burberry is the domain of stuffy middle aged horse and hound magazine readers OR Chavs. Chavs are, well, chavs, but essentially all that is stereotyped about teenagers, clad in Burberry tartan with big gold sovereign rings and baseball caps hanging around on street corners with cans of special brew (super strength vile lager)

So, advice from this UK bigbird is, if you like the burberry look use it sparingly and avoid loitering! ;-p

p.s. found your site by accident but have bookmarked you and will be back back back!
