I am definitely a defined apple-shape, and it did nothing to flatter my figure. I thought the same things you did, Francesca, about it slimming me down, and showing my figure differently. Instead it made me look incredibly bottom heavy, and the straight panels on the sides pulled me in funny. Still, it was a gorgeous dress in person.
