Remember that silk taffeta skirt I fell madly in love with? Well, even though I had it on hold, it was sold right from under my pointy nose! How could I have fallen for such a rookie mistake? Let that be a lesson to you. If you love it, buy it. Right then, right there. Don’t wait. Putting an item on hold is about as effective as the rhythm method and twice as annoying when it fails (I mean seriously, you can sell children, you cannot will a last-season skirt to come magically back into existence.)

You will never forget that skirt. You’ll search Ebay in vain. I know, I’ve been there before and it sucks. I agree that you should buy it right then. Don’t wait or you lose out!

Plumcake, I even put on my only black shirt in solidarity with you on this.
Now, where did I put those mourning handkerchiefs?

It is so much better to regret overbuying than not buying at all. That is why I bought the cute pink jacket for $52 at the San Francisco consignment store, even though I thought it was overpriced. I knew that if I did not, I would wake up a week later at home in Milwaukee and scream, “Why? Why did I not buy that fabulous jacket?”

This is why I had to pay money to the airline on Tuesday returning from Chicago. I just hope no one was hurt too badly loading my suitcases. So many stores! Too little money… I mean time! Tho I have to admit I scored on some Jimmy Choo and Kate Spade shoes at Nordstrom’s Rack.
