I love this dress. Love love lovety love. I ordered the navy and white several weeks ago when it was almost $80 –still a steal– and when it arrived yesterday –after a few tense moments which involved me giving my potentially thieving neighbors the unqualified stink eye since the tracking said it was delivered on Monday– I spent a good part of the evening twirling around, inappropriately fondling the tissue-weight silk (don’t worry, it’s lined and much cuter than the picture) and cursing the heavens that I don’t own any pale tangerine shortie gloves.
It’s on super-sale, only $29.99 at Silhouettes Outlet. Be sure to click the Silhouettes ad on the right side of this page to get an extra coupon code.
Sigh..as per usual, such loveliness does not come in a range for the shorter person.(and my collection of shorty gloves includes baby blue, shell pink, gold and several other colors in addition to cream and white – I have rather a weakness for the combination of Ebay and ladies’ dress gloves).

How does the sizing run? Is it true to their chart? I ordered a wrap dress (in a different material) from Silhouettes a while back in the size their chart says I should wear, and I wish I’d gone at least one, maybe two sizes down.

Remember that post you made about things you love but need to age in to? I think that dress is one of those things for me. :]
Being a teenager I think I’d look a little silly in it, even though it IS super adorable.

hmmm…would this dress work for the boobaciously endowed and apple shaped? I have a bad habit of falling in LOVE LOVE LOVE with exactly the wrong sort of dress.

Many thanks for the heads up. I went to the site and bought this dress and a robe. I am posting, though, to say that I could not find a code on the Manolo for the Big Girl site and googled one. OPRAH20 gave me 20% off my order.
