My son spent weeks studying photos in order to assemble his Slash from Guns n’ Roses costume, and I must say that he did AWESOME – he had it all together, right down to the nose ring. He had people cheering at him all night – I was very proud, lol.

I saw a guy who had a clear plastic umbrella and he’d hung strips of clear plastic from each of the tips…he was a jellyfish. For sheer wit, he was the winner.

We had a Yoda-baby too, and he was darling! My favorite from the evening’s trick-or-treaters. I made a modern Snow White costume/wrap-dress to go with my new October hair cut, and went out dancing with friends after the doorbell stopped ringing.

A girl after my own heart. I’m the kind of person who starts their costume planning in June, and I’ve never beent he same thing twice. Let me tell you, that’s getting pretty difficult these days. But I haven’t worn a store-bought costume since middle school.
