Well, the campaign season is finally over. Whether as a happy treat or a consolation prize, you deserve to do some shopping! Francesca is here to help!
Buy any dress at Avenue.com (online only) and get 40% off by using code AV81269 at checkout. Avenue did not provide Francesca with a deadline for this code. See all the dresses here. The silver sheath dress at right is under $60.
In the market for a new coat? They are 50% off at Woman Within (this deal was supposed to end yesterday, but Francesca sees that the sale is still going on).
Today and tomorrow: Take $20 off Women’s Plus cashmere sweaters at Old Navy. They’ve got cashmere hoodies and scoop-necks.
Also ending tomorrow: Save $7 off any $35 purchase at alight.com by entering code alight7 at checkout. (Francesca also notices that they have opened a new store on Long Island, in Plainview, NY.)
There are many beautiful new items at Talbots Woman and Woman Petite. They currently have two deals happening:
a) Buy one item, get a second (of equal or lesser value) for half price (applies to regular-priced items only) and
b) Get free shipping from talbots.com or from the catalogue if you order $150 or more of merchandise.
Happy shopping!
xoxo,
Francesca
I have to commend this blog and those of you that write it for bringing politics into your blog. I’m sick of blogs I read that are about fashion, or music, or crafts, or anything else turning instead into “You should vote for X! And if you don’t, how could you even call yourself a human being?”
So thank you so much for staying classy and on-topic, which so many blogs seem unable to do this election.

Whoops, that would be not bringing politics into your blog.

I am absolutely disgusted with the Avenue. I bought that exact silver dress last week and just got it today. The material couldn’t be cheaper, plus it’s completely unlined. Oh, and they shipped it loosely in a huge bag, so the dress not only has fold marks, it looks like crumpled paper, too. For $60, you would think you would get better quality in both the garment and shipping. Guess they’re off my list of online retailers, which is too bad, as I get most of my stuff online.
