Francesca says: Even though it is the winter months, and it feels as though the sun will never return, it is still there. With its UV rays of death and wrinkles. A girl must wear sunscreen on her face and hands year-round to protect the skinses!
Francesca herself is partial to the Oil of Olay Complete All Day UV Defense Moisture Cream, ever since she discovered in her late teens that it is the only moisturizer/sunscreen combination that does not make her break out in the little pimples or cause the greasy shininess of unsuperfantasticness.
But no matter what product you use, use it. On the face, the neck, the ears, the hands (remember your poor thumbs) and any other surface of your body regularly exposed to the harsh elements.

I’ve only recently discovered the OOO Complete moisturizer and love it. I have a very oily face naturally and this has helped cut down the unfabulous mid-day (or even mid-morning) shine. Definitely seconding your recommendation!

Every morning after I shower (during which I wash my face), I apply my moisturizer and sunscreen, both Philosophy products. My three-year-old stands with me at the mirror and receives a small dollop of each to apply as well- not that I think she needs moisturizer, her blessed baby skin still perfect, but because she likes it and goodness knows good habits can almost never be started too early.
(She also loves to brush her teeth, have her bath, and sweep the floor. I guess I can’t complain too much that she won’t play in the sand because “it’s dirty, Mommy”- never thought my kid would say that!)
