Rice flour. Seriously. I just discovered this last night as I was trying to make horchata (which is apparently Spanish for “why does this look like baby formula”) just take a half teaspoon of rice flour and mix with your favorite light lotion. Scrub-a-dub dub and rinse. Your skin will look and feel like heaven AND because it’s non-chemically reactive (lesson learned when Baking Soda met Chanel No 5 body wash) it’s safe for even the most delicate of cheeks.

Now I’m dying to know what happens when baking soda meets Chanel No5 body wash.

I’ve mixed baking soda with Cetaphil before, and it makes a lovely, gentle exfoliant. Just don’t get any near your mouth though — yuk!

Chanel body wash plus baking soda = Burny, Smelly, Evil. I should have known something was up when it started foaming like a rabid dog.
