Amazon is offering a 2009 calendar with pictures from Robert Jordan’s Wheel of Time Series. Also remember that, as we’re now in 2009, we have less than a year to wait until the scheduled publication of the final book of the series, A Memory of Light. Francesca is so excited!
*sees Plumcake approaching and smiles innocently*
So, what do you think about these boots by Roberto Cavalli? Yea or Nay?
i vote nay on the boots. a bit ungapatchka, as my people say.
then again, i think “cavalli” MEANS ungapatchka in italian.

OMG, YESSS!! At least, if they were flat. Or had a nice Louis heel, 2″ or under. Then I would be selling blood for them. As it is, with the railroad spike heel they have, I will just long for the body of the boot.

So, I’ll be the geek and comment on the WoT series — this means that I can finally read Knife of Dreams! I’d given up on reading any new WoT until Jordan actually finished the series.

I’m probably one of the biggest geeks you’ll ever meet and I still think someone stole the upholstery off my Grandma’s davenport to make those boots.

Not a Renfaire girl, never read whathisname, but THOSE BOOTS, they are Gorge! I can’t imagine where to wear them, but they are like a painting.

Got to agree, the heels ruin them. About half the heel height, and they’d be perfect.

Agreed on the heels, and if they came in black and silver…

I love love love those boots, but I’m afraid I lack the fabulosity to pull them off. I tend to have a more conservative style.
