From Francesca’s Inbox: Tuesday Edition the First

Today we have the marathon of the sales! Francesca is posting some now, some later.

Yoox is, at last, having the sale which includes shoes, handbags, scarves and gloves. Also there is a wonderful collection of hats here. Francesca is so excited; she has had her eye on these colorful almost-ridiculous boots by Claudio Merazzi, and now they are half-price! Also these verging-on-silly high-heeled sandals by Le Silla, which Francesca covet.

Junonia (which sells sizes 1x-6x, also in (limited) Petite and Tall versions) is having a big sale on shorts, capris, and skirts, ending today – and is giving away a free tote bag with any order. Apples! Here is a tank top with princess seams, available in a variety of colors and sizes, for just $10.

Swimsuits for All is having the huge clearance sale! Items marked down up to 80%! Look, the faux tankini pictured is under $20. Francesca likes that the Big Girl can wear the tankini style, but gets the extra coverage of the one-piece.

Lane Bryant is having the summer sale. Francesca’s pick is this white sleeveless dress, which comes with a pretty floral red-and-white shrug. Mix-and-match the shrug with other outfits, and/or wear the dress with other shrugs or sweaters. The two items together are under $30.

Old Navy, too, is having the clearance sale. Go directly to their Women’s Plus department here (which is online only, not in stores). Here, this pintuck tank top can work very well for the Apple-shaped women.

Avenue is having the “sidewalk sale.” It includes tops, pants, denim, skirts, cover-ups, swimsuits, and lingerie.

Happy shopping! xoxo

I really like the look of dip dye on otherwise simple shapes, and think it might work nicely for apples. I am basically an old hippie, so I might as well enjoy it, you know?

I have noticed that some of the transitions are at unfortunate positions, is there anything else I should watch out for?

    Ciao!
