I’ve mentioned before how much I’ve always loved Julia Child. From early childhood she shaped my thoughts and beliefs about food, cooking, and simply existing in a profound way. Do I agree with everything she ever said? Of course not. I don’t agree with everything Mr. Twistie says, either. I do, however, admire greatly the way she approached life and good food, with gusto and vigor.
I’m off shortly to finally take in a matinee of Julie and Julia, and fully intend to enjoy the hell out of watching Meryl Streep play Julia. But before I go, I thought I’d share a few clips of the lady herself with you all.
