I’m trying to picture someone’s foot in that, but I keep getting distracted by the idea that Mr. Galliano drew his inspiration from someone’s 1970’s Queen Anne chair.

As I have said before, I never met a purple shoe that I didn’t like…..until now. I think this would be a good shoe if it wasn’t for the silly platform. Is it supposed to give the impression of floating above the ground? It just doesn’t do it for me.
I’m kind of enjoying the heel, it reminds me of my grandmother’s dining room chairs. The upper is kind of cool, too, but I wish they’d stopped there. A simple strap over the toes, no silly platform that looks like you could fall off of it (but would be really good for getting away with a crime in a sandy area, there’s no way a CSI would ever guess the real size of your foot) and you’d have a lovely little shoe.
Now I’m longing for the shoe this COULD be…

I love the gold version of this shoe.

I really, really hate the heel and the platform. The upper is pretty cool though.
