I had to check out your Yes. No. Maybe. at Chadwicks, and lo, Francesca gets it completely right. There is something not quite right about the kimono sleeve dress – it should work (I for one love a square neck), maybe it’s the gathering under the bustline? The proportions – it’s swamping the model – or the way the sequin detail draws the eye to the hipline?
