Friday Fierceness: Plumcake’s Patron Saint
By PlumcakeI seem to recall once upon a time lo those many years ago when I was but a mere babe in arms being called Miss Piggy as an insult. I’m sure THEY thought it was an insult but Miss Piggy has more style, substance and feminine wisdom in her naturally-curly little tail than most women do in their entire bodies.
She is smart, opinionated, glamorous beyond all decency and isn’t afraid to kick some ass. Who WOULDN’T love her?
Here are some of her quotes I live by:
“There is only one gift you should accept on your first date – diamonds.”
“Never wash your hair with anything you’d hesitate to eat or drink.”
“Moi has always possessed a charm that is lethal to men.”
“There is the satisfaction of providing your public with a vision of true beautology, true sytlisity, – how can I put it? – true glamorositude.”
“Moi speaks body language fluently, although with a slight French accent.”
“The early bird gets the worm – which is what he deserves.”
“What if you were in Florida without your furs and there is a very quick little ice age?”
“How far should a girl go on the first date? Tucson. However, if you live in Texas, you can probably go a bit farther.”
“You can eliminate a lot of calories by entirely cutting out things you hate.”
“Eat what you want, exercise your prerogative, and find a good plastic surgeon who gives frequent-flyer miles.”
“Beauty takes practice.”
“Never let your frog outdress you.”
“Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and it may become necessary from time to time to give a stupid or misinformed beholder a black eye.”
RIGHT?!
True, it seems Miss Piggy has had a little work done but haven’t we all? It’s a gal’s prerogative, no?

You’ve done it again, Plumcake! Truly, Miss Piggy is patron saint. I have always loved her.

I used to have a Miss Piggy puppet when I was small, and she was rad. I can think of few better role models for fat girls. Stupid boy saying nasty things about you? “HI-YAH!”

My second grade teacher loved Miss Piggy. And he is a man. I trust his taste, and I trust yours.

Whenever somebody is being a jerk, I think to myself: What Would Miss Piggy Do? Love that pearl choker.

Awesome!
And what WOULD Miss Piggy do to jerks? “HI-YA!”
This made my day. Thanks!

“You can eliminate a lot of calories by entirely cutting out things you hate.” I am quoting this, and “glamorositude”, at the next available opportunity and ever on. All hail Miss Piggy (& Miss Plummy).

Miss Piggy has always been my ultimate style icon and I went as Miss Piggy for Halloween more times than I can count. I mean when you are a chubby, pink cheeked blond girl with curly hair you can either fight it or love it amiright?

@Sabayon you have just given me a really funny Halloween costume idea for next year! Me as Miss Piggy and my boyfriend (who is too skinny and somewhat more quiet than I am) going as Kermit.

While I love Miss Piggy and her quickness at dispensing the karate chops, I have to point out one bit of irony: Miss Piggy was played by a man during her time on the Muppet Show.

Just love Miss Piggy quotes. She is a “G” rated Mae West.

My favorite Miss Piggy quote:
“Never eat anything bigger than your head.”
I love her so much.
