I’m intrigued, but I have no clue what I’d wear it with. Maybe I need to see it on a foot to see what it does.

@Chloe: I’m on the waitlist for it, but I doubt I’d actually ever wear it. It would be more of an objet than anything. Can you imagine if your grandmother passed down to you a pair of shoes designed by I.M. Pei.? I don’t usually subscribe to buying shoes just to look at them, but for these I’ll make an exception.

It is a shoe. And I want it. Or, actually, two of them. I suppose if I have to ask, I can’t afford it, but…? I love that she has totally rethought the shoe – I’ve never seen a shoe like that. Lovely.

@Jezebella I think they originally retailed for something like $350 which isn’t bad. They’re not in production anymore –I’m on a waitlist at Gilt for them where they went on one-day sale for $150– They would look miserable on my feet, but I’d buy them as objets.
