Hermès Ulysses Refillable Notebook: Blue Jean Togo Leather, Palladium Hardware (if someone doesn’t get this for me for Christmas I will DIE)
Psychotic Reactions and Carburetor Dung by Lester Bangs (my journalistic hero)
The Complete Works of Gustav Mahler
Cross Classic Century Pen (excellent sale for Miss Plumcake’s preferred pen)
Be sure to check back at the main ‘Tis the Season page to look back on profiles you’ve missed and look forward to ones that are soon to come!
What does it say about my character that I want to buy all of these items for myself instead of my loved ones?

@Lucy: CLEARLY it says you’ve got great taste and you’re a misunderstood genius. Seriously, if you don’t have the Lester Bangs book you really need to get it.

Ha! I got that notebook in black with indigo inside (I’m not sure it’s technically “indigo,” but it is; same kind of leather) for Christmas three years ago. I’d give it to you, but it’s monogrammed. I’ll be running away very fast from the Mahler, though, my mom blasted the 2nd symphony throughout the Tgiving prep and it’s left me with a deep and abiding appreciation for the sedate and orderly baroque.
Man, this post feels so pleasingly privileged. I wish my life were actually like it all the time.

@Vi: I can change my name! Mahler’s second is a little, uh, intense for Thanksgiving prep, but it’s still a massive piece.
