eShakti Makes Twistie Happy

Have I ever mentioned that I love eShakti? I love the styling, the colors, the customizing… pretty much everything. And they have some great new items that continue to make me smile. This one, for instance. Now I don’t wear black, but this adorable polka dot dress with its festive red flower trim is making me smile from ear to ear. And at $79.95, it’s a good deal, too.

Best of all, while it comes in standard sizes, from 0 to 26, it can also be made (like all eShakti clothes) to your custom measurements. Even if you don’t use custom measurements, they ask your bra cup size and height so that your dress will fit you properly. With many pieces you can choose the length you want it to be, the neckline you prefer, and/or the sleeve length and style.

So what else from the current line is making me happy? Take a look and see.

How about this fabulous dress? Simple, elegant lines, great colors (this spectacular crimson appeals to me, but it’s also available in sea green, navy blue, black, violet blue, and deep raspberry), with plenty of options. Oh, and the price is definitely right at just $52.95.

But don’t forget to look at some of their older designs, too! There are plenty of wonderful pieces that you’ll wear again and again.

Things like this awesome sunset gold scalloped shift dress. It’s a steal at $69.95.

Or this delicious mauve cotton/silk blend blouse for $59.95.

Pretty clothes, fair prices, and amazing customizing all in one place? Count me in!

  1. Twistie…
What a great clothing website! I hadn’t heard of it prior to your post. Saw a number of things that are calling my name…will return to eShakti and give the clothing a try. I’ll let you know what I order.
Thank you for posting this info.

  2. Nice to see this mention! I stumbled across the eShakti site a couple of years back, and I like a lot about it; they are bookmarked high up in my “Shopping” file, even though the stars have not aligned for me to order anything from them yet. :) Ms. Twistie (or others reading this), do you own any of their pieces in person? If so, might one ask for a few words about how they translate off the screen?

  3. @The Accidental Tangoiste: I don’t personally own an eShakti items, but a good friend of mine ordered several tops from them and I was present for the grand opening of the package when she received it. The tops were gorgeous, just as she’d ordered them, the fabric was high quality, and the items were very well-constructed.

  4. I have a dress and skirt from eShakti. They are both well-made and very pretty, but the skirt just does not fit all that well. I got the dress from their standard sizes and the skirt custom made. The dress fits well, but the skirt just was not right. I’ve seen others have problems with the custom orders, but the standard orders are great!

  5. Oh I am in LOVE. I am doing traveling this summer and several of these tops are just perfect to pack. I need to bring one dress with as well for an evening event so I think I am going to get one of their LBD’s (as I don’t currently own one – GASP!)

  6. I adore eshakti! I love their dresses and my favorite one is this in black – http://www.eshakti.com/clothpdpage.asp?catalog=Clothes&cate=maxis+and+caftans&productid=CL0021745&pcat= it’s comfortable, the stitching is perfect, and the quality of the fabric is very good. I went the custom route on it and it fits perfectly. I have a big bust and and I was worried about the ruching pulling smooth but it stays put.

If you order from them they will send you all kinds of coupon codes for future use too. If you enter ESHPRV as your coupon code you’ll get 15% off your order.

  7. Cat and Natalie, thank you for your input! Curious that off-the-rack might be a better fit than custom-made–but very, very good to know!

  9. I was so excited to see the site and was counting all my pennies for that fabulous crimson dress posted… until I saw that it only ships in the US and not to Canada. Damn you, border!

  10. I ordered two of the more traditional-looking tunics to wear with slacks to summer weddings last year, and I LOVE them. Mine were custom, as I am slightly above the normal sizes, and I also chose to make adjustments on the lengths of the sleeves/top. They came out wonderful, and I get bunches of compliments every time I wear them. (They also seem to clean well.)
