Flat Month: Electric Blue | Manolo for the Big Girl

Flat Month: Electric Blue

RSVP’s Basil in electric blue. Also available in a bunch of fun colors up to size 13! It’s sort of a stingray feel.

Plummy! I just got stopped at the grocery store by a man of the non-sketchy variety to tell me how beautiful I am! I wouldn’t have as much va va voom if it weren’t for this blog making me proud to be a beautiful big girl. Thank you!

Those are gorgeous. Who says a flat can’t be a statement shoe?

Love flats month! I adore heels, but after two ankle surgeries, am relegated to flats (with orthotics =( ) most of the time. I am always on the lookout for new brands that might work. I’ve actually had better luck with high end shoes (Taryn Rose, Anyi Lu, Ralph Lauren, Bettye Mueller) providing enough coverage to hide the orthotics without looking like grandma shoes.

Unrelated: I was wondering if you ever consider posting anything from Talbots? While a lot of their clothing is for the office, I’ve noticed recently that they have cute non-office clothes and a lot of classic pieces (in both women’s and women’s petites) that would work well in either context, depending on what you chose to mix them with. You seem to lean toward a classic style, but with a strong point of view, and it seems like some of their pieces might work for you (or your readers). Just a thought. I’m actually considering the ocean in this dress:
