Fab Four: Things Shaped Like Elephants

Hoo, okay, this went up without any text a while ago, but I might as well introduce our brand new featurette for the month of October: The Fab Four.

As all of you doubtlessly know (though equally doubtlessly, weren’t alive to remember) Beatlemania began in earnest on October 13, 1963 so to commemorate everybody’s favorite Liverpudlians –I’m a Ringo girl myself– I thought I’d offer a fun little featurette with four hand-picked items that are Plumcake Approved.

Some of them are goofy, some are serious, but I hope they amuse, delight and occasionally titillate. Not by an elephant teapot though. Freak.

    Love the elephants!!!!

Off topic, I would really like to hear your take on the current cover of O magazine, where apparently Rosie O’Donnell is not suitable to be seen and must be covered up with a curtain.
Here’s a link to a blog that shows the picture, but kind of misses the point – http://storyballoon.org/blog/2011/09/07/rosie-odonnell-o-magazine-cover/

    Adore you!

Off topic too — I need suggestions. I have a formal shindig later this month and not a single gown in the stores fits across my top. Sigh. Actually some did but revealed waaay too much of the ladies for an official business function. Luckily, I have a tuxedo jacket that I can wear with matching pants. What jewelry should I wear with it? I have very, very short hair and am a bit worried that I will look like a (rather handsome) man wearing it.

I’d fight you for the teapot, but was distracted by those gorgeous earrings! Of course, I have nothing to wear with them, but Mr. Carol would probably like that better anyway… :-)
