  1. FWIW, while that OXO set is pretty, the cocktail shaker suffers from that all too common cocktail shaker problem — the lid tends to fuse to the bottle. Mine is now useless, because it can’t be pried apart for love or money.

  2. I got my husband the porto sippers (not with the decanter — though if I’d seen the decanter when I was shopping, I probably would have gotten the set). The sippers are STUNNING in person, just absolutely lovely.

  3. I don’t know why I didn’t think to ask you sooner, Ms. Plumcake, but what are your thoughts re: decanting single malts? I’m inclined to think that the original bottle will keep it airtight and thus it will last longer, but I look to your expertise in all things whisky.
