Happy Pre-Fall!
Oh yes, you think just because it’s three millions degrees outside and could you fry a whole chicken on the sidewalk that’s it too early for fall, but friends it is NOT.
This week Neiman Marcus unveiled their Pre-Fall merchandise online including offerings from La Maestra Miuccia Prada.
Now, I’ll admit to being the teensiest tiniest bit disappointed by the pre-fall because the shoes she sent down the runway for her Fall 2008 RTW are SO couture, SO over the top, SO kick-you-in-the-face fantastic that anything else would pale in comparison.
These are prosh and if they lived in your closet I think you’d find you’d wear them more than you’d expect. The ruffle is so pretty on the ankle without being too too.
On the other hand, for those of us who don’t believe you can ever be too too, at least not in Prada, check out these as-yet-unreleased creatures from the 2008 F/W RTW. La Miuccia paired them with the most evil looking lace dresses. It was insane. Insane but divine.
Crazy, no? These have been in my lookbook since February and mark my words, once Prada releases the retail version and they become the cult shoes of the season you’re going to see fins and ruffles on all SORTS of shoes.
